Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
1. What we collect
Account data you give us directly (name, email) and the financial data you authorize through your banks: balances, transactions and account metadata. We never receive or store your bank credentials.
2. How we use it
Solely to provide the service: showing your balances, categorizing transactions, detecting subscriptions and computing Safe to Spend. We do not sell your data, show ads, or share it for marketing.
3. Aggregator partners
Bank connections are established through licensed open-banking aggregators. Your interaction with them (including the bank login itself) is governed by their own privacy policies.
4. Storage & security
Data is encrypted with TLS 1.2+ in transit and AES-256 at rest; bank access tokens are stored separately from your financial data. See the Security page for the full picture.
5. Your rights
Export all your data to CSV, disconnect any bank (which deletes that bank's data), or delete your account entirely, each in one click from the app. EU users have GDPR rights; US users have applicable state-law rights.
6. Data retention after your subscription ends
We do not keep financial data for accounts that are no longer paying. When your subscription or trial ends without payment, your account becomes read-only and your banks stop syncing. You then have 7 days to resume or export your data. On day 6 we email you a reminder naming the exact deletion date.
After 7 days we revoke your bank connections at the aggregator and permanently delete your connected banks, accounts, transactions, detected subscriptions, income streams, budgets, goals, notifications and dashboard layout. This is irreversible. There is no backup to restore from and no archive tier.
Your login, email address and billing record survive, so you can sign in and subscribe again at any time; you would start with an empty account. You can also delete everything immediately instead of waiting, from Settings.
